Firstly, you will need to know what a Staff bead is in a sash window. A staff bead is the detailed trim that frames your sash box internally – it keeps the sashes in place in the sash box.
Then you will need to take two key measurements:
Width – Measure in millimetres from internal left hand side staff bead to the internal right hand side staff bed – see line A.
Length – Measure in millimetres from internal top staff bead to the internal bottom staff bed – see line B.

How to measure Casement/Heritage Windows for an initial quote
